About Us

The first product, now the company's signature product, is the Fun Plane. Initially the Fun Plane was offered in a single design but has now been sold by over 100 airlines worldwide in their own liveries with sales now exceeding 1.5 million pieces. The Fun Plane was highly commended by the judges of Tax Free's Frontier awards in 2003 and won star product at ISPY 2002. The Fun Plane line now includes a collection of 12 different products and is available in ground shop and inflight packaging.

In 2000 Premier Portfolio started a supply contract with Fitness First, Europe 's leading health club operator. This soon led to an agreement to develop a range of Fitness First branded merchandise for sale to the Travel Retail market. This range now incorporates ladies, gents and children's sunglasses, sports accessories and most recently swimming goggles. The range has proved tremendously successful with sales now exceeding over 250,000 pieces.

To cope with the rapid growth of the business Garry Maxwell joined the company in 2002. Recognising another gap in market for coherent range of small electronic gadgets, Garry set about the task of developing a range suitable for both inflight and ground shops and so the Premier Collection was born. The range now comprises 24 products of which 8 are also available in a clam shell packaging.

In 2004, work started on adapting the success of the Fun Plane concept into the marine market. With fantastic opportunities for sales on both ferries and cruise ships worldwide, it was natural that the Fun Boat Collection was guaranteed to succeed. The first product rolled off the production lines late in the summer of 2004 with the P&O Ferries logo.

Eight companies have since taken delivery of stocks and with many other operators finalising ranges. All signs are that the Fun Boat Collection is set to become another major winner!

Running parallel with both the development of the Fun Boat Collection and the Premier Plane Collection is the development of licence business to produce a range of toys under specified airline names. Already selling successfully are toys under the British Airways and Virgin Atlantic brands. KLM are the latest to sign. These ranges are targeted at Travel retail ground shops and domestic toy and model shops.

With over 100 years of travel retail and sourcing expertise, Premier also provides corporate gifts and premiums for many major brands including William Grants, Ferrero, Lancaster Group, Seagram's, BAT and B&Q.

Premier Portfolio International Limited now services more than 150 clients and delivers products to over 56 countries. Premier's client list includes British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, ANA, KLM, SAS, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Qantas, Heinemann, World Duty Free, Aldeasa, Alpha, W.H.Smith, Aer Rianta, Duty Free Americas, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, P&O Ferries, Brittany Ferries, Silja Line, Tallink and Trasmediterrania .
